An amazing and highly stylized 1950's evening gown by Daniel Werle. Werle designed clothing for many Hollywood stars including Barbara Stanwyck, Marlo Thomas, Gloria Swanson and, most notably, many of the beautiful dresses worn by Loretta Young on her television show. The silhouette is classic pin-up "femme fatale"; cut to showcase an hourglass nipped-waist! The bodice is ultra seductive with its low-cut plunge, boned strapless. My favorite part is the asymmetric skirting which really catches the eye! The peplum pleatwork flatters the figure and will turn any woman into a starlet. You do not easily find this level of workmanship on garments today.
Length top to waist:9.5 inches
